Bicester Heritage Drive it Day.

Sunday 23rd April saw the annual Drive it Day at Bicester Heritage. The Spring weather brought out the enthusiasts in droves in what must have been the biggest crowd to date. Bicester Heritage managing director, Daniel Geoghegan and his team yet again put on a first class event at their historic site. The grounds of the Airfield Technical site lend themselves well to showing classic cars of all types off to great effect. Below is a selection of images from the day and will give some idea as to the diversity on show.

In January this year, I headed south to the county of Essex to visit a very special restoration facility. Paul & Andrew Wood are genuine enthusiasts and are justifiably proud of the Company they founded in 1967. The brothers left Rolls-Royce once Andrew had completed his engineering apprenticeship, to start their own business working exclusively with Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars from a workshop in Moreton, Essex. With Andrew in charge of the engineering element within the Company and Paul in charge of sales and coachwork, the business flourished to such an extent that by 1970 they had to move…
